New Year - New Career: Thinking About A Career In Real Estate?

2016 is upon us and with a New Year - some of us may be thinking about a career change.  Ever thought about a career in Real Estate?  While most real estate agents work for a "Firm" - a career in real estate offers an individual the opportunity to create their own business, as well as "brand" and market themselves.

A career in real estate is also very rewarding - we help home buyers and sellers achieve their dreams.  Buying a home is probably the largest investment that most people make, and it is rewarding to be a part of that.

So how do you begin the process of getting a real estate license in North Carolina?  You must take a pass a 75 hour Pre-Licensing Course in order to sit for the State Exam.

The good news is that Virginia Federer will be teaching a Pre-Licensing Course Craven Community College - located in New Bern, NC.  The class will run Tuesday's and Thursday's from 8am to 4:30pm starting on February 16th and ending on March 24th.  Cost of the class is $180.00 which does not include the book.  You can register by visiting http://cravencc.edu/admissions/registration/ or call the Administration Office at (252)638-7200.

Virginia Federer began her Real Estate Career in 2005 - working for Weichert Realtors in the Winston-Salem area.  She and her husband Larry moved to the Crystal Coast of  North Carolina and opened Crystal Coast Realty & Home Services.  Virginia was licensed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission in 2012 to teach Pre and Post Licensing Classes. Virginia is also a member of NCREEA (North Carolina Real Estate Educators Assocation) and had enjoyed helping others obtain the dream of getting a real estate license in North Carolina.
